Virtual Assistant Conference ~ April 2010

The Illinois Virtual Assistants Connection (ILVAC) is hosting a Virtual Assistant Conference in the Chicago area April 9th & 10th, 2010.

ILVAC is a networking group of Virtual Assistants based in Illinois who meet regularly with a mission to provide a community for learning, communications and sharing of VA best practices.

The conference is a grass-roots effort to provide an in-person networking and an educational event for all current and prospective VAs with a registration fee that is within reach for a small-home based business budget.

The volunteer planning committee of five Illinois VAs; including myself have worked tirelessly to find a suitable venue within close proximity to one of Chicago’s airports and provide an agenda that is relevant to new and experienced VAs.

Included in the agenda are three top-notch meals and speakers presenting a variety of topics including: Business Structure, Social Media, Client Relations, Tips & Tools and Business – Life Balance.

The next challenge for the group is to get the word out and encourage VAs in Illinois and across the country to register for what promises to be a very impressive first annual event.
